The TheraGun is a unique drill-like tool used at Premier Performance Physical Therapy and Sports Medicine. We usually save this gadget for either first or last of the treatment session to stimulate the muscles and produce blood flow to support the healing process.
The science behind the TheraGun is that it vibrates your muscles at a high frequency which stimulates the nervous system to produce analgesic effects. This result allows the TheraGun to give you a deeper muscle massage and breakdown of scar tissue.
This instrument is remarkable at removing soft tissue restrictions. It can be on a body part for ~1 minute and can be used in-between exercise sets or post exercise for recovery.
